Inspections is owned and operated by Al Wyatt. Daystar
provides inspections on residential homes (new & re-sale) and
commercial properties in Houston and all surrounding areas.
All inspections are performed by Al Wyatt. Al is a Licensed
Professional Home Inspector--Texas Real Estate Commission
License #238. (This TREC license number indicates the age of
the license--the larger the license number, the more recently
the license has been issued). He is also licensed to perform
Termite Inspections--Texas Structural Pest Control Board
License #5099. Since 1983, Al has performed approximately
8000 home inspections. Al has an Engineering Degree from
Texas A&M University (not a licensed P.E.). He is also a
graduate of the American Inspector’s Institute. Al has
received additional classroom training (Continuing Education
Courses) for many years--totaling over 400 hours. Al also has
over 40 years experience in the construction industry. He
also has a “SUPRA” key available for easy access to the home.
Al’s
inspections are very comprehensive and thorough. They are
conducted with complete honesty and integrity. Most of
Daystar Inspection’s clients are referrals from previous
clients who are very pleased with the inspection results.
Many Realtors have contacted Daystar to perform inspections on
their personal homes and the homes of their family members.
The
inspections are carefully conducted in concurrence with the
most recent Texas Real Estate Commission Standards of Practice
and Code of Ethics. All inspections will be performed in a
courteous and professional manner. Daystar provides computer
generated inspection reports that are clear and concise. The
reports can be faxed or emailed in 24 hours if necessary for a speedy
dissemination of the inspection results. If the client has
questions concerning the report, Al is available for
discussion and will patiently answer all questions that the
client may have.
The
inspections include, but are not limited to: The roof, the
roof support system in the attic, load bearing walls, doors,
chimney, walls, ceilings, floors, windows, foundation, water
penetration, yard drainage, and overall structural integrity.
The inspections also include: Built-in appliances--(oven,
stovetop, disposal, trash compactor, vent hood, microwave);
also, garage door opener, dishwasher, ceiling fans,
electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, water heater,
pools, hot tubs, lawn sprinkling systems, and Termite
Inspections (Wood Destroying Insect Report). (Very few
inspection companies can “also” perform Termite inspections.
Also, most inspection companies do not perform Pool, Hot Tub,
or Lawn Sprinkler Inspections.)
Al also performs “Phase Inspections”. These are inspections
performed on “new” construction at various stages throughout
the construction process. He performs Inspections on both
Residential and Commercial buildings. Al is also a member of
“PIC” (Professional Inspectors Coalition) and “HAR“ (Houston
Association of Realtors).
